Sound Designer - Spring 2023

I was a sound designer for Purdue's Contemporary Dance Company. I worked on this project for their Spring Dance Works concert. I worked alongside coreographer Katie O'Malley and her group of student dancers. We met on a weekly basis to discuss the progress of the dance as well as the music. After an entire semester of this, we showcased our work alongside five other dances. My main tasks included:

• composing and arranging all music for an 13-minute dance perfromed by Purdue students

• attending rehearsals/showings to view the dancers throughout all stages of the process

• organizing music and sounds for convenient listening throughout the creative process
